A Day at the Opera

Here’s my latest painting closer to being done. I worked on it this morning. At 12:15 my brother Steve and his friend Kai came by to pick up Shelly and me and drive to the Pacific Northwest Opera performance of La Traviata at Macintyre Hall in Mt Vernon. It was a wonderful performance, especially the lead singer Jennifer Bromagen. Everyone had to be vaccinated and wear masks. The theater is beautiful and spacious which helped us feel safe. It was designed by the same architect who designed Benaroya Hall in Seattle. We had a great time and I saw lots of friends while I was there. Afterwards Steve and Kai got us pizza for dinner. I added wine , salad and dessert to the meal. What a great day.
