Horses

On our early walk today Daftie disturbed the bucolic serenity of the morning by barking unreasonably at this mare and her foal.  Had they shown the least aggressive intent towards him I suspect he might have run a mile.  But they simply blinked their indifference, and I dragged him off to get his breakfast and shut him up.
