Ein Wackeldackel/A Nodding Dog

"Wackeldackel" is a lot more fun to say.

It was that most glorious of Mondays - a Monday off.  Of course, I took advantage and slept for more than half of it.  It's not as if I was missing glorious weather - we seem to be packing in the grey days.

Two things I read this morning have me very confused - Germany has just recorded the highest number of Covid cases in one week since the pandemic began but we're going to open the Xmas market this year as usual.  I'm sure this all supported by the science from the Robert Koch Institute and has nothing to do with political expediency.
