Wild flower reserve

What a special day we had today. Our guide took us to see the flowers and we learnt so much. He concentrated on telling us about the pollination of the various flowers by birds, bees, ants and even mice. One can only marvel at nature. The flowers were beautiful and I came back with a beautiful bouquet of the flowers that he'd picked when explaining the intricate processes of pollination.
This afternoon we went for a drive to nearby Gansbaai in the hope of seeing whales but they didn't make an appearance.
Once again we have enjoyed amazing meals. Most of the vegetables and herbs are grown on the farm. It's an interesting place to Google...Grootbos private nature reserve, as they also have a training centre where they train the locals for working at the lodge or outdoor positions.
Tomorrow wevare going on a boat trip where we hope to see many birds.
