Sold…for about 8 million!

A house very near us has that has just been sold…for a mere 8 million plus. . It is the largest of four properties which all belonged to Sir Donald Gosling who founded NCP National Car Parks and at one point was in the top 50 richest people in the U.K. he died a couple of years ago and it seems that his estate is being sold. The photograph shows part of the gardeners cottage which comes with the big 6 bed house which also has an indoor swimming pool and large riverside gardens! In the extra you can see the plan with the plots of the four properties; this is the biggest one Leander House which has a very large garden going down to the Thames. The next house was used to house some of his staff, the third is a boathouse with a long drive and then there is a fourth house also with river frontage.the other three properties sold more quickly. Leander House will need lots of updating and we hope that the new owners will keep the same footprint and retain it as a single house and not try to build a block of flats or anything.
