old and new

Busy day at work. Listened to a very interesting discussion organised by the German-British Society Berlin with Stefanie Bolzen, Tanja Bueltmann and Simon Fraser on What is going on in the UK?. Simon Fraser was very diplomatic (unsurprisingly, given that is his job) but clearly criticised what is going on. Tanja Bueltmann was a lot more outspoken and worried. I totally agree with her assessment that the UK is on the slippery slope with no obvious stopping point. Stefanie Bolzen was a lot more of an observer. What a total mess.

Dropped off teenager with pal to an explorer bonfire thing. We made use of the car and zoomed to South Queensferry where I got some shots of the Bridges. It was a bit damp.
