Follow the Heron Home

I was sittting at the laptop deciding on today's photo (which was going to be this) when JT spotted a heron. Cue lots of rushing around taking photos through the window when I suddenly remembered the memory card wasn't in the camera... Anyway; managed to grab this before it took fright and flew off.

Makes me think of this great song by Karine Polwart. I've seen her play live a couple of times and both have been fantastic gigs. Great songs, great musicianship, great stage presence and performance.

Beer and bonfire to look forward to this evening. Can't beat it!
