Redundant?

I heard today on the radio that the number of our public phone boxes are going to be dramatically reduced as people are not using them as much as they used to - so here's a picture of one round the corner ftom me. And I never see folk using it and we don't live in an area with a poor mobile signal so I guess it might be for the chop!
