Found in a dark, dusty corner of a building in Lewes, East Sussex. These sewing machines used to be regarded as the height of modern technology, allowing seamstresses to knock out garments at an astonishing rate. Now they would be computer controlled and the seamstresses would be unemployed. Or possibly consulting needlework technologists..
