Gold

I looked through some of my prospecting equipment tonight and ran across this vial of gold in one of my kits. It may look impressive but to put things into perspective, it takes about 200 pans to sift through one cubic yard of material and this vial is about the size of a #2 pencil and standing on end, there is about 1/8" of gold, and is the result of many years of panning. The South Fork Nooksack River is loaded with gold and will be prime for panning as soon as the snow level drops.
