As it seems more and more they will be spending the winter nearby, and they don't appreciate other more comfortable solutions (we also have a thermal kennel, but they probably feel too locked up and don't want to get in), my parents have tried to repair and make more comfortable the only place where they seem to want to sleep: a couple of pillows and a cardboard shelter covered with a tablecloth that prevents it from becoming damp.
