Pistyll Rhaeadr

My great grandfather was born here in a farm where the cafe Tan-y-Pystyll now stands. Pistyll Rhaeadr is the highest single drop waterfall in Wales, visited via a single lane track that winds along the valley floor for a mile or so. Probably not the most sensible route to take today with plenty of snow still on the ground, but my father has always been quietly adventurous.

I have never seen the waterfall in wintertime. It was magical.
