Nature's wild palette

A close crop of a bunch of witch hazel leaves still on the shrub (original in the extra). The colours are just so amazing (and yes, I did up the levels a bit, but they're just as amazing in reality). The crop to show that when you fill the frame it becomes more abstract, for tomorrow's Abstract Thursday theme of 'getting closer'. One of the basics of abstract photography is showing only a part of your subject, if possible from an alternative angle, in any case in a way so that it is not so easy to see what you are looking at. One of the ways to do that is to get as close as possible (or to crop a shot in an editing program). Maybe you can try with some mundane object ? Have fun trying it ! The tag will be AT333.

These gorgeous colours for Wild Wednesday with thanks to Cailleach for accommodating wild Wednesdays.

Thanks very much for the kind comments and stars for yesterday's teeny tiny fungi :-)
