For the love of dog ...

... and probably no longer for the love of snow.

I staged a shot like this in January, the covering not deep enough to come over my boots then and the weather so grey another shot won the day. The snow fell after a dry spell this time and promptly drifted. Bizarrely some ground, that didn't get a covering, is cracked dry.

D is to thank for the ear action having encouraged me to play with the burst mode settings.


I've back blipped from my travels. This shot of my sister is probably the one I love best in my journal so far.

Just spotted last years shot was in Dorset when it was warm enough for someone to brave the sea. He does though look like certain parts may have been frozen.
