Hedgehog

We met this guy on a lunchtime walk today. We saw someone else looking as we walked down the road, and when we got there he was sitting perfectly still.

Worried that he was sick, we looked up the number for the SPCA, but he started to move - he edged down on to the road, went over the road at some pace, pulled himself up on to the kerb, and disappeared into the bushes. We waited while he crossed to warn any passing cars.
