‘Crescents, Red and Blue’

My offering for Abstract Thursday. Rather enjoyed this one! Thanks to Ingeborg for hosting!

While I was out looking for a suitable subject, I also came across a young rose, lying alone and helpless across the cracks in the pavement. 

I thought it had particular symbolism on this day, and have added it as an extra.
