Doesn't Fiona looks graceful here? - floating just above the sunlit sand on the shoreline. But, I'm afraid this image betrays a falsehood.

If you happened to be strolling down West Sands today at the back of six, what you would have really seen is a pair of utter fools, completely oblivious to the fact they were in public. Fiona jumped incessantly along the shore while I moronically tried to keep up, running sideways like a crab with my camera upside down.

"keep going, yeah it looks cool, shit it won't focus...keep going".

Now I'm pretty sure that even your average person out on an evening stroll would have known that you can just rotate the images when you get them on the computer. Yet, perhaps that redeems the graceful lie that this picture portrays. At least it was actually taken with an upside down camera. I mean I put some amount of effort into it, right?

A little point to add to anyone with a morbid, ornithological curiosity, there were scores of seabirds washed up on the tideline. You couldn't walk for more than fifty metres without seeing another slumped mound of black and white feathers.
