If the theory of the "Borrowing Days" is correct we are in for a good summer. The superstition around Borrowing Days varies in different parts of the country but in Shetland, I think, the theory is that the weather in the last three days of March will match up to May, June and July - perhaps ZE1 Chrsitie will keep me right here.

For the first time today it felt warm and in the hills of the South Mainland I only needed one fleece and even heard my first Skylark of the year (much later than normal).

As the 60 North line of latitude goes through the Lewis Household I blipping this from slightly south of the line as we live in the middle of this shot.
