Autumnal trees

This cherry tree in my garden is showing some lovely colours just now even in the rain, contrasting with the birch beside it with no leaves, see extra. I don't think the rain stopped all day so I didn't go far.

Last day off and contract signed this morning for my full time work next week, I wonder how much difference I will notice.
