.... from the top branch of a leafless tree. The pigeons have claimed it for themselves leaving the magpies and crows to find their own trees.

What a change in the weather today .... the sky was blue, the sun was shining and it was almost warm enough to be out without a jacket.

First thing I did when I got home was to sweep up and fill one black bag with some of the thousands of leaves which fall from my neighbour's trees into my garden.
