Japanese Gardens and Choir Concert

A pretty full day compared of positive activity compared with the week of firefighting during the week.  A quiet morning while Leyna picked up milk and went shopping and renewed plants at BG.  I watched the rugby which England won fairly convincingly in the end but more from Australian mistakes than great play by them.  The afternoon was most enjoyable with a trip to the Japanese Festival in the Japanese Garden whcih is part of Fort Worth Botanical Gardens.  Lots of photos of Koi, Bonsai trees and leaves but thought this one sums up the surroundings and the fact that we had a good time just enjoying something together.

In the evening our grandson Mayson was performing in the Regional Choir concert - he had to do a few auditions to advance to this level and has a couple more for a place potentially in the State choir, but this concert was a high standard and the pieces they did were very accomplilshed.  I am posting a link here of the video in case of any interest in hearing a short snapshot!  Mayson's Regional Choir Concert - extra of the handsome singer himself.

FInished off the evening with some Pho at a local restaurant with Jamie and the family.
