Green Tomato Chutney

After admiring Sebrose's crop of green tomatoes and sharing my Mother's chutney recipe, I was motivated to make it myself (it's been a while) However, I could only get red tomatoes, thus here is the start of Red, Green Tomato Chutney! 

To avoid misunderstanding for the recipients of my homemade Christmas gifts to be, I changed the name to Spicy Tomato and added a little bit of chopped red chilli, as well as one star anise "after sniffing the spice jars I couldn't resist." I'm crossing my fingers for a positive outcome.

1lb GreenTomatoes
Half 1lb Raisins
Juice of 1 Lemon
Half 1lb Brown Sugar
1 Pint of vinegar
1lb Cooking Apples
Tablespoon Mustard
Salt and Pepper

Chop or Mince - Mix together - Boil for about an hour.
