Remembrance

We had quite a lot to fit into today. I shopped for my dad first thing and went to visit him. In between that we had to take the cat to the cattery. It's not something she's too happy about but we'd never go on holiday if she didn't. 

When we got back we took a short walk to see this poppies at a local church. They've been created locally by the "Let's Make Jam Women's Institute".

Then it was back home to pack for our trip. It's always a it strange being home without our cat. It shouldn't really as she's out all day generally, and spends most of her time at home alone in another room.
