Cambo scarecrow

I’ve never visited the beautiful Cambo Gardens in Fife this late in the season, but it was stunning. The apple trees are replete, and the walled garden was still a blaze of colours.

Despite the time of year, we were able to sit outside in the beautiful courtyard cafe area. A highlight: hot spiced, freshly pressed apple juice! It’s not all that common in Scotland, but it made this expat New Englander very happy!

This scarecrow made me smile.
