Berries

On a visit to St Mary’s Pleasance garden in Haddington, I was lucky enough to get chatting with a wonderful local woman who was able to to tell me all about the history of the garden — including her own childhood memories of sneaking fruit from the trees, many years ago! It was such a treat and a pleasure to pass that bit of time together: an unexpected highlight of the day.
