River Scene…..

The flowers on the flax bushes along the Taylor River berms are in bud. I’m not sure if they can truly be described as “flowers” but once they have burst through their green leafy coverings the “Tui”, New Zealand indigenous song birds, feast on the nectar. Daughter Margaret is still staying with us. She is great company. She took Keith out in the car to town for some chores and then on to lunch at “The Vines Village” out in the countryside.
