Thwarted at sunset

Was a really nice day and a good sunset looked promising. So I walked out to Dunscar Woods and a bank of clouds appeared and spoiled the effect. 

So I have played around with textures, oil painting effects and a torn edge. Looks a bit better but not quite what I was hoping for. 

I will try again another day.
