Young Maggie

I went up "onto the plateau" to take a wide angle photo of the view.  Tried three different spots but none of them really worked for me.  At the third spot, as I opened my bag, I was approached by this very brave or tame juvenile magpie.  Magical birds... 

Apparently, according to this magpieaholic site I've just discovered, they live for about 20-something years.  The one pictured is no more than 2 years old, younger I would've thought given how much grey plumage it has.  A couple of older ones arrived after a couple of minutes and kept well away from me.  I assumed they were mum and dad.
