Time for a chop

We are waiting for the leaves on this small tree to drop before we get it “topped”. It is done about every five years and keeps it to a sensible size. It is always the last tree around here to come into leaf and the last to lose them. Judging from this mass I will fill a few bags - the leaves are small and delicate.
