Back Yards

The houses of The Woodlands Estate are built on the 'outside' of a large circle surrounding a spacious green in the middle. They are very fine capacious residences and certainly out of my pocket's range (new building work on one has been ongoing for over a year now; it is rumoured to be the future home of one James Vardy, of Leicester City Football fame). Many of the gardens back on to the Harborough Arm of the Grand Union Canal and that's where I was taking a crepuscular stroll this evening. I imagine their electricity bills are likewise capacious.
