Day two of curtain making.

A friend promised to make a pair of curtains for her daughter for her new house, so I offered to help her. The daughter had got the fine linen fabric from eBay at a bargain price. Sadly it was slightly cross printed and there wasn’t quite enough of it for the width of the French window. We managed to buy some contrasting blue linen, which we added to make it the right width. We lined and interlined the curtains and at two widths wide and 2 metres 50 cm drop, they were quite cumbersome. Luckily we had a huge table to work on. They are now finished and I know she will love them.
