DRUMLIN

This is along the 7 Hills Road east of Fond du Lac and fits the criteria for Wide Wednesday. The hill is part of a drumlin courtesy of the last wave of glacial activity that left Wisconsin about 10-12,000 years ago.

Contour plowing of crops is necessary to retard erosion as these hills are steeper than they look.

Of course, the top of the hill is a coveted spot for the placement of cell towers.
