Isla and Rona

Took the girls for a walk down a newly repaired path in the wood today. They had great fun running to and fro, ears flying and tails wagging. Signs had been put up asking the horseriders to refrain from using the new path until it had settled but the hoof- prints on the surface suggested otherwise. We then met a lady leading a wee girl on a horse up the new path and despite being a regular in the wood she said she had not noticed the signs which were blatantly obvious. Apologies to all responsible riders but this attitude really makes me mad!

Just heard today that another regular dog walker is getting a new puppy...a wee orange roan cocker spaniel :)
