Pistache Trees

These Chinese Pistache trees turn a lovely rich red colour in the autumn. But the question we asked ourselves was “Do pistachios come from Pistache trees?” The answer is no!
We tried to have a “Day Off” today, but it was hard with the things David has to deal with at work. Nevertheless, we had a lovely brunch out, followed by a bit of shopping for some household bits and pieces and then an affogato at BG - a special ice cream and espresso treat for me. Then we had a rejuvenating walk in the local park which is just beginning to turn autumnal, though the temperatures were still in the 80s •F! (High 20s •C). Tomorrow is forecast to turn cold, so I’m glad we were able to make the most of this lovely weather!
