Busy Wednesday

For November and the first half of December, Wednesday mornings are taken up by the Orchard Makers Group. Half a dozen of us get together to make items which we hope to sell at Dervaig Community Orchard’s Christmas event. So far, we have made children’s aprons, cards and gift tags, fabric wreaths (an example of this in the photo), napkin rings made from twine, and Christmas tree baubles. Other ideas are in the pipeline.
After lunch, N and I headed off for our Covid booster and flu jag. As Bertie is still too young to be left by himself, he had to endure the seven mile drive into Tobermory. We stopped twice along the way for two brief walks and he very nearly made it before being sick in the last half mile. However, it was encouraging that he was very relaxed on the journey home.
