The shortest way from A to B... is via the "Forward" button, by far the most popular button on the main Outlook toolbar...
I mean, why on earth would you deal with something yourself if it can safely be forwarded to another department, which will in turn forward it to a third until it has completed a whole corporate Mexican Wave and gets back in your inbox.
By then the "querier" will have either
a- found the answer himself/herself
b- given up
