Ready for the protestors

The anniversary of the Athens Polytechnic Uprising today - a protest against the Greek Military Junta in 1973. Police were on and between every corner from late morning, helicopters buzzed for hours but I think very little eventuated. Marking, supervising tests and a walk in search of a pharmacy that would take a handwritten note for something to calm me before tomorrow’s MRI. One pharmacy flatly refused, the other one, who’s helped me before, needed my note to say no Amka. Too hard. Maybe my massage therapist can drown me in relaxing oils tomorrow!
Cold in Athens, and grey.
