Watermelon Mountain

This is a view of the Sandias mountain range.  Located on the eastern boundary of Albuquerque, it is often referred to as 'watermelon mountain', as it resembles the shape of a slice of watermelon, and is often shining a pinkish color during sunset.

The mountain is often shown in the background of movie and television series such as: The Book of Eli, Finch (Tom Hanks), Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul and Lone Survivor.
