How Cute?!

Our last day of the trip, it exceeded any expectations we had. We've had so many opportunities to photograph bears in different settings, different weather conditions, close up portraits and sparring males. The only thing we hadn't seen was a mother and her cubs. Just after lunch we were watching some of the young males snacking on kelp when we got a call that a mother and her two cubs were approaching the area we were in. 2 minutes later and we had our first sighting. Photos can't do justice to how incredibly special these little bears are and how fragile their future is. I really hope the bay freezes soon so their mother can hunt and continue to nurture them to maturity.
