Upward Trajectory, Downward View

Thanks for all the messages on yesterday's blip. After a tricky night's sleep (very hard to sleep face down), I (Chris) was back to the hospital for a quick check over this morning. I have basically zero vision in the operated on eye (just a smudgy mess of colours), largely due to a bubble of gas put in the eye to support the retina. This will gradually dissipate over the next month. Hopefully that will reveal a successful outcome, if not, the same process has to be done again!

I've had to keep my face facing downwards most of today so inevitably the blip takes on that viewpoint, the leaves of our growing rowan tree.

Tonight I keep sleep on my side so hopefully that will be a bit easier.
