Fly past

Amanda’s memorial service was hugely well attended and was beautifully arranged by her daughter Lydia and sons Owen and Alex and her husband Richard spoke as well. It was very emotional and we sang worship songs that Amanda had chosen. At the wake I went onto the balcony and there was a fly past of four swans. Sadly did not manage to get the camera out fast enough to get a close up!

When I looked at then thumbnail I noticed that in the background was the restaurant where we had had Sunday lunch barely two months ago! Life is fleeting and needs to be savoured whilst also being aware that death is just the transformation to a new renewed life with Christ which is by far a better place!
