Waving & Drowning

The Corona map of Germany - the darker the colour, well, you can probably guess.  Let's just say that really dark red has never been associated with anything good.

I've been looking up this map every day for a good while now, and it has been possible to just watch the wave spreading.

Wiesbaden is still a salmon pink colour but that is also too high.  I'm just very glad I don't live in Sachsen* (Saxony).  I'm not going to go into any detail about why Sachsen has such high numbers (and indeed all of the former East German states**).

They've cancelled all the Xmas markets in Bayern (Bavaria).  I wouldn't be surprised if that happened here too

*For one I don't understand the dialect AT ALL
** The only reason there is a yellow area in Mecklenburg Vorpommern, is because nobody lives there.
