Good Connections

 We set off from home and got the bus to Ilkley. As we got off one  bus another was just leaving for Keighley so we hopped on that one.
At the bus station in Keighley the Bronte bus was  about to leave .
So that settled it and we went to Hebden  Bridge. Three buses with excellent connections.
Lovely little market there.
We resisted buying earrings but Elaine succumbed to buying two dresses and l got some sort of black linen harem pants ( very Hebden  Bridge if you have ever been you will know what l mean!) We had a simple lunch: Winter Veg soup with creme fraiche and hunks of sourdough. Just what we needed on a cooler day than recent.
Went to our favourite shoe shop and both resisted buying new boots but it was a close thing.
Home now just getting the G&Ts ready and we are going to eat a couple of bavette steaks with mandatory beer battered chips after Stricly.
Red wine obligatory.
