Fox and hounds

Teaching the little, and not so little the game of fox and hounds!

Before that we tried an experiment with raisins and cranberries dropped in glasses of lemonade.  We found both started rising to the surface as lemonade bubbles clung to them and then when they reached the surface the bubbles broke and the dried fruit dropped back to the bottom!  Thus going up and down for a while.  The cranberries worked faster than the raisins!  (Extra)

5yo noticed that the spoon in her glass, they had started fishing the fruit out, looked as though it was broken!  I didn’t try to explain refraction!

It’s been a good day with the girls. So pleased to see two of my older granddaughters and the two little ones without counting Emma who was FaceTiming for a while! (The men were at football)
