Family stories

I spent today going through my parents and grandparents photographic slides collections. Vast quantities of them! Such an amazing collection of the lives of sisters, various offspring, parents and grandparents and all our travels through the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s.

This image isn’t my photo but taken by my father. I have made a digital copy on my phone from a slide.
This is my mother Heather at 50 in 1984 (approx) taken by my father Brian somewhere in the pacific islands of New Caledonia or Vanuatu.

Dad had sailed from NZ to New Caledonia with a couple of friends and Mum flew to join them and they then sailed up through the islands of Vanuatu.
