An early start

An early start Up and out of house before 5.30 arrived airport at 6.30. Had to "tell" the AC agent who wanted us to use the machine to check in that the machines cant handle free checked bags which is a perk with certain credit cards. She didnt seem to want to accept that at first, after all, its easier to try and fluff someone off than actually listen to what they have to say. There was only one counter check in agent at this time but she sorted us with no problem and no charge. Seafood breakfast tacos? Why not? It turns out they were totally uninspired and made me lust after the "real deal" coming later tonight. The boss' bacon eggs and sausage didnt light any fires with her either. And at $50+ for the two of us they werent worth half the price. Its amazing what you can get away with in an airport with a captive audience. For the first time in a while the strategy of booking aisle and window seats paid off as no one sat between us. A glass or three of merlot helped to pass the 5 hour flight.
