River North Esk

I’m up-to-date again; thank goodness. It was the Scottish Score Championships today at Dalkeith Country Park and also the first cold day for orienteering. The planner was lazy by assigning the same score to all controls, which took away the skill of maximising your score by planning where to go. Effectively it meant that the best runners won and that’s not always the case. I went out to take a few shots for the website and ended up by the North Esk where the blip was taken. The extra is a rather fine rainbow that we saw when out turfing after the event.

Best on black.

Yesterday’s blip.

Today’s entry on the Abstract Fiesta journal is a rotting tree trunk.
