Macro Day

Quite an intense day but very worthwhile on a course lead by Nigel Wilson.  It was very thorough and everything clearly explained.  The afternoon was some time to work on practical shots which we then emailed in to Nigel.  We all had fair and gentle critique - very positive and encouraging.  My fault was that I had forgotten to change the ISO which was set quite high - not a problem for digital but might have issues if printed.  The rose from which this macro blip is taken (extra - it's actually quite small) is  worth doing again with correct ISO, although I'm not sure when I can get that done before it fades too much.  I have  a different sort of day tomorrow actually making a photobook - looking forward to that challenge.
