John Piper

I visited Liz for tea. She inherited this print by John Piper (shown with reflections that I couldn’t avoid) from her parents. I like Piper and always enjoy looking at this picture.
I started re-reading ‘Cotter’s England’ by Christina Stead last evening. It’s been sitting on the shelf for years; it will be interesting to see what I think of it now, after so many years in the UK. I was a newcomer when I read it the first time.
