Reflections in the stream

This morning  we took our e- bikes to be serviced at the  bike shop across town. We walked back into town via the Winnall Moors  nature  reserve. This is a view from a bridge over one of the branches of the  river Itchen which flow through  Winchester. I had just  spotted, very fleetingly, a kingfisher flying down the river. It is  always a joy to see, however  briefly,  that  flash of electric blue. 
We treated ourselves to  a wonderful hot chocolate in Chococo, before  doing a bit of Christmas  shopping, and taking the bus back home.
